SNOWPOCOLYPSE, ROUND 2?
Ok, so here's the latest on the weather as it relates to Hershey playing Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Saturday night.  There have been so many people e-mailing me, calling the team, etc, that the Bears have put out a statement regarding tomorrow night's game.  While right now, the game is still very much on, read below:

"With the threatening weather forecasted for Saturday, February 6, 2010, we ask that you rely on your media sources for any updates or changes to the Hershey Bears vs. Wilkes-Barre Penguins Game scheduled for 7:00 pm.  If a change is made we will update this website immediately and notify  radio and television stations, along with Facebook and Twitter alerts."

So there you have it.  Believe me, I'm about 35 minutes from the rink, and where the snow is expected to be worse than in Dauphin County, so I'm evaluating my options now too.  The latest Winter Storm Warning missive that the National Weather Service put out for Lancaster County has us potentially getting 18 inches or more down this way.  But no decisions have been made, nor will they be until the stuff starts falling in a big way.  I can tell you this: the two best places to be in the know are HersheyBears.com and JohnWaltonHockey.com.  Because when Doug Yingst calls me with word, those will be the first places I update, and I'll know seconds after a decision is made.  As listed above, radio, TV and all that will have it too, and Twitter and Facebook and the rest.  But the websites will have it first.  If no information is up, it means no decision has been made yet.
