Andrew Joudrey and Steve Pinizzotto would each score goals Thursday with family in attendance at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, but Hershey came up one goal short in a 3-2 loss to the Marlies. Kyle Calder scored two goals and was named the game's number one star, leading the top farm club for the Maple Leafs to victory. Much like for the Capitals, Hershey has found Toronto a tough place to win this season.
We are on the road in western New York as of 1:00 a.m., heading over snow covered roads toward home. Thankfully, the Bears are off Friday and home against Bridgeport on Saturday. Very likely to see daylight over the GC by the time we finally pull in. A tough night for long travel, no doubt about that. As if the weather wasn't enough of a problem, the border agents decided to offload us in Buffalo and bring us through customs one by one. But at least they didn't offload the gear. |
